For the first time in over a month, "It's Showtime" co-hosts Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro reunited on the dance floor during the noontime program's live episode aired on Tuesday.
The studio audience erupted in loud cheers when the duo, who are known for their "BillyVhong" dance during the show's "Sine Mo 'To" segment, shared the dance floor six weeks after Navarro was mauled last January 22.
Navarro, after recovering from serious physical injuries, returned to "It's Showtime" last Saturday, but this was the first time he and Crawford opened "Sine Mo 'To" together.
Navarro opened the impromptu acting segment with co-host Jhong Hilario during Monday's episode as Crawford was absent.
Navarro's emotional return to the show last Saturday followed a controversial month for the actor, who filed criminal charges against eight people in relation to a mauling incident in January.
Amid his recovery, Navarro also had to face two separate rape complaints -- one from model Deniece Cornejo, who alleged the sexual assault took place on the night of the mauling; and the other from former pageant contestant Roxanne Cabanero, who claimed she was victimized by the actor in 2010.
"Isang buwan po tayong hindi nagkita at nagsama-sama," Navarro said in his speech last Saturday, addressing the audience. "Gustung-gusto ko magpasalamat sa inyo nang personal dahil pinagtatanggol niyo ako, pinaniniwalaan niyo ako at pinagdadasal niyo ako."
