no one knows. no one can tell what will happen to us, what will happen tomorrow. in life there's no assurance, we don't know what will happen.

on monday morning (March 17, 2014), my aunt got some weird feelings. but she just trying to ignore it. that morning after we had breakfast, she took the kitten of our cat from one of our rooms here. and she seems to be ok.

then after lunch, she began to complains about his neck and head aching, so my other aunt told her to undergo a reflexology. we don't really know if she were already suffering from a attack, a stroke attack. when we figure out that she had a mild stoke, we were shocked. she can't lift her right arm, her left eyelids and left part of her jaw where affected. and she can't walk properly.

now, one of her son came home to see her condition. and he will be guiding his mom to the therapist everyday. we know that she will recover from that state. with the help of the Almighty Father, she can do it :)

Biology

Elysia chlorotica is a “solar-powered” marine sea slug that sequesters and retains photosynthetically active chloroplasts from the algae it eats and, remarkably, has incorporated algal genes into its own genetic code. It is emerald green in color often with small red or white markings, has a slender shape typical of members of its genus, and parapodia (lateral "wings") that fold over its body in life. This sea slug is unique among animals to possess photosynthesis-specific genes and is an extraordinary example of symbiosis between an alga and mollusc as well as a genetic chimera of these two organisms.

To obtain algal chloroplasts Elysia chlorotica slugs use their radula (tooth) to pierce a filament of the alga Vaucheria litorea and suck out its contents. The ingested algal cytoplasm and nuclei move through the gut but algal chloroplasts are trapped and concentrated in vacuoles along branches of the digestive tract. While inside an algal cell, functional chloroplasts use proteins encoded by their own genes as well as others encoded by genes within the algal nucleus. Within a sea slug, however, isolated chloroplasts can not receive proteins from the algal genome. Remarkably, these chloroplasts remain functional anyway because the slug genome includes the algal genes necessary for plastid function. Elysia chlorotica probably gained these algal genes through lateral (or horizontal) gene transfer. One possible vector is a virus that infects the sea slug and carried pieces of algal DNA (Pierce et al., 2003).

Original Description of Elysia chlorotica: A. A. Gould, 1870 (Report on the Invertebrata of Massachusetts): "Animal emerald green, dotted with white and red spots; sleder, tapering behind, with broad, lateral expansions, folded and overlapping each other on the back when the animal is in motion; tentacles two, lanceolate, folded beneath; head distinct, obtuse, slightly emarginate; anterior angles of foot widely produced, triangular.

Actæon, Agassiz, Proc. Bost. Soc. Nat. Hist, iii. 191 (1850)

Actæon chloroticus, Agassiz, in MSS.

Animal emerald green, finely dotted with opaque white interspersed with red specks. Body slender, tapering backwards with very broad lateral expansions or wings, which, when folded as they are when the animal is crawling, overlap each other on the back in a roof-like manner, and the while animals has then a lance-shaped form generally acutely pointed behind, but in some attitudes obtuse; when expanded, they have a broad ovate form, like a leaf with the border more or less undulating, and this resemblance is further carried out by the vein-like folds or canals which ramify on its surface from the heart which forms a globular or bulbous eminence in front; the expansion begins at the anterior part of this bulb. In front of this is a well-marked neck and head, on which latter are two delicately lanceolate tentacles, which are furrowed or folded beneath. The eyes are placed a little behind the tentacles. The head is obtuse and slightly emarginate. The organs of generation are just behind the right tentacle, and the male organs is very often protruded, of about the same form and nearly as large as teh tentacle. The anterior angels of the foot are widely produced, of a recurved triangular form, as if another pair of tentacles. Length, about one inch, sometimes an inch and a half; breadth, when folded, about one fifth the length, and height equal to breadth, when fully expanded, equal to three fourths the length.

Found in great numbers in brackish water, on the Cambridge marshes, in the spring of 1848 (Agassiz)."

it only proves that human and wild animals can live harmoniously together, if we could take good care of them they can be a great bestfriend, they could treat us as their family, a part of their pride.

conserve nature and protect the animals. we are watchers of these treasures, we must protect and take good care of them :)

A comparison of two raw Pancam photographs from sols 3528 and 3540 of Opportunity's mission (a sol is a Martian day). Notice the "jelly doughnut"-sized rock in the center of the photograph to the right. Minor adjustments for brightness and contrast.
NASA/JPL-CALTECH

After a decade of exploring the Martian surface, the scientists overseeing veteran rover Opportunity thought they’d seen it all. That was until a rock mysteriously “appeared” a few feet in front of the six wheeled rover a few days ago.
News of the errant rock was announced by NASA Mars Exploration Rover lead scientist Steve Squyres of Cornell University at a special NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory “10 years of roving Mars” event at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, Calif., on Thursday night. The science star-studded public event was held in celebration of the decade since twin rovers Spirit and Opportunity landed on the Red Planet in January 2004.
While chronicling the scientific discoveries made by both rovers over the years, Squyres discussed the recent finding of suspected gypsum near the rim of Endeavour Crater — a region of Meridiani Planum that Opportunity has been studying since 2011 — and the discovery of clays that likely formed in a pH-neutral wet environment in Mars past. While these discoveries have been nothing short of groundbreaking, Squyres shared the Mars rover’s team’s excitement for that one strange rock, exclaiming: “Mars keeps throwing new stuff at us!”
Steve Squyres discusses the gypsum vein discovered by Mars rover Opportunity, another piece of the Martian water puzzle.
IAN O'NEILL/DISCOVERY NEWS
In a comparison of recent photographs captured by the rover’s panoramic camera, or Pancam, on sol 3528 of the mission, only bare bedrock can be seen. But on sol 3540, a fist-sized rock had appeared (raw Pancam images can be found in the mission archive). MER scientists promptly nicknamed the object “Pinnacle Island.”
“It’s about the size of a jelly doughnut,” Squyres told Discovery News. “It was a total surprise, we were like ‘wait a second, that wasn’t there before, it can’t be right. Oh my god! It wasn’t there before!’ We were absolutely startled.”
But the rover didn’t roll over that area, so where did Pinnacle Island come from?

Photos: Weirdest Mars Craters Spotted by HiRISE

Only two options have so far been identified as the rock’s source: 1) The rover either “flipped” the object as it maneuvered or, 2) it landed there, right in front of the rover, after a nearby meteorite impact event. The impact ejecta theory, however, is the least likely of the two.
“So my best guess for this rock … is that it’s something that was nearby,” said Squyres. “I must stress that I’m guessing now, but I think it happened when the rover did a turn in place a meter or two from where this rock now lies.”
Opportunity’s front right steering actuator has stopped working, so Squyres identified that as the possible culprit behind the whole mystery.
Each wheel on the rover has its own actuator. Should an actuator jam or otherwise fail, the robot’s mobility can suffer. In the case of this wheel, it can no longer turn left or right. “So if you do a turn in place on bedrock,” continued Squyres, “as you turn that wheel across the rock, it’s gonna kinda ‘chatter.’” This jittery motion across the bedrock may have propelled the rock out of place, “tiddlywinking” the object from its location and flipping it a few feet away from the rover.
Never missing a scientific opportunity, Opportunity scientists hope to study the bright rock. “It obligingly turned upside down, so we’re seeing a side that hasn’t seen the Martian atmosphere in billions of years and there it is for us to investigate. It’s just a stroke of luck,” he said.
“You think of Mars as being a very static place and I don’t think there’s a smoking hole nearby so it’s not a bit of crater ejecta, I think it’s something that we did … we flung it.”
Although this is the leading theory behind the case of the random rock, Squyres pointed out that the investigation is still under way and it will be a few days before his team can definitively say where Pinnacle Island came from.
Opportunity has outlived its 3-month primary mission by ten years, notching up nearly 23 miles on the odometer so far. Sister rover Spirit succumbed to the Martian elements in 2009 when it became stuck in a sand trap in Gusev Crater. Spirit’s mission was declared lost when it stopped transmitting in March 2010, likely drained of energy. Although Spirit had the rougher time on Mars and was the first to die, it was also a huge success, aiding our understanding of of Mars’ geological history and outliving its warranty by 5 years. But now it’s just Opportunity and Mars’ new arrival Curiosity that soldier on to reveal more than we ever dreamed about our neighboring Red Planet.
As the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory rover drivers, scientists and engineers recounted stories of their beloved robots on Thursday, it became very clear that they aren't just machines of discovery, they are family.

Google Search (or Google Web Search) is a web search engine owned by Google Inc. Google Search is the most-used search engine on the World Wide Web, handling more than three billion searches each day.
The order of search on Google's search-results pages is based, in part, on a priority rank called a "PageRank". Google Search provides many options for customized search, using Boolean operators such as: exclusion ("-xx"), alternatives ("xx OR yy"), and wildcards ("x * x").

Android are very popular operating system used on mobile phones, tablets nowadays.

Do you have some photos, videos, and other files you want to hide in your android device? This tutorial will teach you how to hide the following files on the android device gallery and built-in file explorers.

Procedure:
* Download any 3rd party File Explorer Programs on your android device. I recommend X-Plore Program, it's free and easy to use. And it doesn't need a rooted device, good for those devices that are not rooted :) Just find it on the google play store.. it's a program/product of lonelycatgames.

* Install it on your device

* Open it and find the folder or the file you want to HIDE.

* Rename it and put dot (.) on its file name. e.g. .myhidepictures_album .hideimage.png

After the android device scanner scans the files on your drive, the items/files that you put dot will not be seen on the device gallery and in default file viewer/explorer.

WHOA! Check out some pretty spectacular footage of of a mega dolphin pod off the coast of Dana Point, Calif.

Tour boat captain Dave Anderson captured the amazing video using a drone outfitted with a GoPro camera. The footage also includes three gray whales migrating south toward San Clemente, Calif. Keep your eyes peeled for an adorable baby whale calf snuggling up to mama on their journey! Watch now:

Here's a messaege from the captain to take note, also posted with the original YouTube video:

A Special Note From Captain Dave
Attention any would be whale videographers: please only attempt this if you are extremely familiar with whale behavior as it is illegal to do anything that causes the whales to change their normal behavior with big fines- and the authorities do watch YouTube. Different areas have different laws on approaching whales. I am a whale watch captain with nearly 20 years of experience. All laws were obeyed by us during filming. In Maui we sat watching whales from a distance for hours before they moved closer to us. You can never approach them there closer than 100 yards. The Mom and calf as you can see in the film were completely undisturbed by the small drone. NOAA is currently reviewing drones and may create laws or guidelines for using them around whales.

Chelsea was on the receiving end of a "greeting" from a whale off the coast of Mexico. (Photo taken from YouTube user Jordyn R)

Whale watching can be a blink-or-miss experience compounded by long stretches of staring into the open water, waiting for something to happen.

But it’s safe to say Canadian tourist Chelsea Crawford got her money’s worth, after receiving a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a whale off the coast of Baja California, Mexico, according to the Huffington Post.

Watch what happens in this video uploaded by YouTube user Jordyn R:

It’s not quite the welcome anyone wants to receive, but we’re happy to tell you that Chelsea was fine after the encounter.

In scientific research, the greatest inspiration can come from the most unexpected sources. Last month at the Biophysical Society Meeting in San Francisco, scientists revealed that the secret to understanding the genetics behind obesity and breast cancer may be found in the colorful coats of calico cats.

In female calicos (which nearly all calicos are) one X chromosome has an orange fur gene while the other X chromosome has a black fur gene. In a spectacular genetic feat, the chromosomes are turned off and on at random, resulting in the calico’s distinctive splotchy coat.

The process of a cell preventing the expression of a certain gene is called “gene silencing” and researchers at the University of California, San Francisco think that calico cats may be the key to unlocking the mystery of this phenomenon. According to The Huffington Post, these scientists hope that gene silencing research could someday be used to help understand and control genetic tendencies. Although the research is its infancy, “silencing” the genes that express obesity and other diseases associated with the X chromosome, like breast cancer, may be a reality in the future.

Next time you see a calico cat, think of the amazing genetics that make their unique coat possible!

For the first time in over a month, "It's Showtime" co-hosts Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro reunited on the dance floor during the noontime program's live episode aired on Tuesday.

The studio audience erupted in loud cheers when the duo, who are known for their "BillyVhong" dance during the show's "Sine Mo 'To" segment, shared the dance floor six weeks after Navarro was mauled last January 22.

Navarro, after recovering from serious physical injuries, returned to "It's Showtime" last Saturday, but this was the first time he and Crawford opened "Sine Mo 'To" together.

Navarro opened the impromptu acting segment with co-host Jhong Hilario during Monday's episode as Crawford was absent.

Navarro's emotional return to the show last Saturday followed a controversial month for the actor, who filed criminal charges against eight people in relation to a mauling incident in January.

Amid his recovery, Navarro also had to face two separate rape complaints -- one from model Deniece Cornejo, who alleged the sexual assault took place on the night of the mauling; and the other from former pageant contestant Roxanne Cabanero, who claimed she was victimized by the actor in 2010.

"Isang buwan po tayong hindi nagkita at nagsama-sama," Navarro said in his speech last Saturday, addressing the audience. "Gustung-gusto ko magpasalamat sa inyo nang personal dahil pinagtatanggol niyo ako, pinaniniwalaan niyo ako at pinagdadasal niyo ako."

This tutorial will teach you how to edit / change mounts appearance.

Note: this will only work in GW FB client version.. and it can only be seen on your screen only. because we are just editing the files on your computers.. not on the gw database server. so in short this is just a TRICK.. not a HACK or MODDING.

Ok lets do this..

Procedures:
1st: Locating the ride file.. if you use the defaults when you install the godswar client, then it must be:
C://Program Files/GodsWar Online_Facebook/Localization/en_us/Settings/Sys

2nd: Back up the file. (ride file) just in-case you fucked up it or if you want to restore it to defaults
just copy the ride file and paste it anywhere in your PC. it serves as our back up copy

3nd: Open the file via NotePad.. or just open it LOL!!

You'll find a bunch of letters and fucking symbols there..

4th: Finding your mount (not nemo).
It was grouped under the name, and the StatuID.. every StatuID represents the level of the mount. Ex. we are going to edit a Greek Steed (horse).

then choose the group that represents to your mount level. just delete the highlighted texts corresponds to your mount level (see the screenshot below)

if you want to edit the lv.90 horse then delete the highlighted text under StatuID:1105

5th: Editing and Replacing. Find a mount that suit's you and copy some of the text and replace the text of the greeksteed with the text you've just copied from the other mount settings. (Ex. a lv.90 Nemean Wolf)

Just Copy the highlighted text as shown above (screenshot). and then Replace.

6th: Don't forget to Save what you edit. (Cntrl + S).
Start / Restart the client to see if you're successful :3

Happy Gaming ^__^
